There does not appear to be a languageswitcher module position in this template – where should I publish it?

January 31, 2013 at 10:24 pm #481903That all depends on where you want it to appear on your page. Please can you give me a screenshot detailing where you wish it to appear?
January 31, 2013 at 10:34 pm #481905Either above the Search box, right justified, or in the footer, right justified.

January 31, 2013 at 10:47 pm #481909You seem to have no footer published on your site. There are a number of module positions available in this template which you can see by adding ?tp=1 to your page but5 first you need to enable that facility in your template manager. There is a “footer” position that might work but you would need to modify the code to make your item fit. The is currently no position above the search.

January 31, 2013 at 10:55 pm #481911How do I add ?tp=1 to my page and enable that in my template manager? I would like to put it in the footer6 position.

January 31, 2013 at 11:04 pm #481913Maybe this guide will detail the ?tp=1 thing – http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/module-positions-how-and-where-to-find-them/
All you do is add ?tp=1 to the end of your URL and the available module positions will be displayed.
January 31, 2013 at 11:09 pm #481914I have footer6 activated and it is free, but nothing is appearing

January 31, 2013 at 11:21 pm #481916You seem to have made some code modifications to your footer etc which are preventing those sections from appearing. You would need to restore your code.
February 1, 2013 at 3:36 pm #482034I have switched themes and it still does not appear in the footer, where I have it tagged to appear. No coding has been touched on this theme.

February 4, 2013 at 8:39 am #482306Hi brennac,
You can see that i created 2 menu (English and French for you):
Now, you just need to assign Items and set home for both English (UK) & French (FR) menu.
Then, make sure that you configure Language Switcher correctly and clean T3 cache.let me know how it goes.
Regards,
