    Hi I think it’s a layout / margin / template problem because there are large spaces between images and texts.
    i was told it maybe to do with the template.css, but i do not know how to correct it am afraid of messing up the template
    can anyone tell me what needs changing please

    Apologize for the delay . . .

    Okay, for the area for the two headings, it appears that the CSS controlling this element/area can be found within the following path:

    plugins/system/jat3/jat3/base-themes/default/css/template.css

    at line 37, you will see …

    /* Content spacing ---*/
    .column p, .column pre, .column blockquote,
    .column h1, .column h2, .column h3, .column h4, .column h5, .column h6,
    .columnol, .columnul, .columndl { margin: 15px0; padding: 0
    ; }

    The culprit appears to be the margin setting – so my recommendation would be to experiment with different variables (including, perhaps, a negative value for “margin-top” (i.e. -10px))

    As an added bit of advice, I would recommend utilizing a tool such as FIREBUG to assist you in identifying various web layout elements as you continue to develop your site. This is the kind of tool many of the Support Team use.
