Ok I am using Larix, Joomla 1.5.4 and VirtueMart 1.1.1

1. When click on product, brand, etc…the items are displayed at the bottom of the page while all of the news, etc…are still displayed on top. How do I fix it so what when a product, caterogy, etc..is selected, the news goes away?

Hi ryanvu !
This is simple problem , the news is user1 module ,now , it always loaded on top in all page , if you want it don’t display on product detail page , you can do following way below :
– Go to admin >> extensions >> module manager >> User1 module
– On bottom of page you set for it only display in Home page.

For instance on my home page I would like to not show the “hot deals” “new instore” and even the “featured products” once people start clicking on products, etc…

Otherwise right now when you select a product category, etc…it’s too busy and confusing 😎

You go to http://www.rcx.com.au/index.php?tp=1 to view module position loaded at top of content. there are 3 module position : user1, user2, top at the top of content
