    Hey guys/gals,

    Is there a quick fix to have the latest Jomsocial 2.6.2 work with JA Cloris? I’m receiving the usual blank screen on profile/preferences etc…

    Someone mentioned earlier that one can copy over the default profile into the Jomsocial template profile but there was no instructions listed. I created a ticket with JomSocial and they stated it was the theme that caused it because we can revert to the default theme and everything works fine.

    Hi there,

    Currently, we’re in progress of update JA Social template for the latest version of JomSocial, so that it may not work properly with this latest version 2.6.2.

    In this directory: componentscom_communitytemplates:
    – ‘default‘ folder is based file of jomsocial
    -‘ja_social‘: our overridden folder for jomsocial

    If there’s any page not work, please try to copy file from default folder to ja_social folder, clean cache and let me know what happen.

    I tried as suggested but it still shows up as a blank page when a user clicks on the edit profile or edit details page. All other pages work such as preferences, privacy etc.. When I mean blank page, it really is blank with no details on what the issue is.

    I have changed the JomSocial template within the module itself and still the same error. As soon as I change it from any non-joomlart template the links work as desired.

    You can try with turning Error Reporting on whether there is any error or not

    Anyone else have this issue with the latest jomsocial? Like I stated before, they’ve stated twice it’s the template.

    When is next time? I need an update ASAP. I need to know if I should move on to a different Joomla vendor or not. Your support has been very poor in terms of updates to this critical issue.

    @titanrocks: If you have still upgrade latest JomSocial version you can use default on JomSocial component.

    Ok, let me explain. I think many people are not understanding what I’m saying. I purchased an add-on, the add-on JomSocial. This allows my users to interact with each other. You can buy the module here http://www.jomsocial.com

    The module DOES NOT work with any template created by joomlart. The module and the rest works fine with multiple other vendors including the default templates that come with Joomla. A ticket was created and they stated many many times that joomlarts template is the problem. I can reproduce this problem at will and tired of getting no where.

    Please help as this has caused me to lose quite a bit of money for my business.

    Remember backup old file
