Hello,

I’ve got a problem with module that has been provided with Mitius template – Lastes News. I’ve set the news properly but the title of the article redirects to the main page (not the article). The link in the browser changes but on the screen you can see the main page.

I’ve used a quickstart installation provided with the template.
I’d appreciate your assistance.

When you installed your template using the quickstart method, did you also install the sample data along with it?
I ask because – usually – starting from a full working version of the demo is really helpful … as you can then “work backwards” to customize things rather than try to “re-invent the wheel” in trying to figure out how to configure things from scratch.

Nevertheless, another tool you can utilize to check your own configurations against those of the demo version
is JA’s DEMO BUILDER

Like I suggested, try utilizing the DEMO BUILDER tool to cross-check your news module configuration(s)
with those of the working demo version.

I’ve checked the settings with the demo builder and it looks good. As I said, the URL changes but the content doesn’t appear, it looks just like a home page.

Where can I download this latest news extension used in the quickstart page? Maybe re-installing it would help?

Hi,

Did you solve it? When I try to open an article under Latest News section, it redirects to a full article page, not in homepage.

The problem here is that article may not be assign to a menu item, in joomla, if you want to view a details page of article, you need to assign it to a menu item, otherwise, it will display in homepage.
