    Hi all,
I am using communityplus on http://howviolins.com/infokeskus/
The picture of the cello and search bar is great for the ‘frontpage’/landing page. but if a visitor clicks on an article, eg

    http://howviolins.com/infokeskus/Jousisoittimen-ostaminen/viulun-valitseminen-lapselle.html

the picture still appears on the page.

How do I make it so that only the article is shown, and not the search bar and picture, as in

    http://howviolins.com/infokeskus/Hinnasto-%E2%80%93-huoltopalvelut/korjaushinnat-jousille.html

As far as I can tell the setting for categories and all article settings are identical.

What am I missing out on?

    Much obliged for any help!

    Welcome to Joomlart!

Thank you for contacting us and we look forward to working with you.

In your Administrative Panel goto EXTENSIONS > MODULES > and open the module containing the Picture of the Cello.
In the bottom left you should see MENU ASSIGNMENT > MODULE ASSIGNMENT.

Using the drop down you can select on which pages this module should appear.

Once selected, do the same for the SEARCH module.
And don’t forget to SAVE when you’ve made your changes.

Let me know if I can help further.
    And again, Welcome to Joomlart!

    Hi JW,
Thanks for your quick reply. I have done as you suggested, but the problem persists. I have cleared the cache of the site, and also in my browser, but no success yet.
Could there be something with the way I have my categories structured?
Also, when I go to an article then go back to the Artikkelit section, the pictures aren’t reloading. Any thoughts about this?
Thanks in advance for your input.!

I am sorry if my directions were not clear, for the issue is not with Categories or their structure or articles.
It is what MODULES are appearing on what page.
In other words, it is not that PAGE A is pulling in the CELLO MODULE, it is that the CELLO MODULE is set to appear on PAGE A.

Again open the CELLO MODULE (user 12 position) as though you were going to change the image.
And here are the MODULE ASSIGNMENTS that need to be set.

This shows the settings necessary for the CELLOS and likewise the SEARCH module to show ONLY on the front page.

If I am still confusing you, you may PM me an admin login and I’ll be glad to have a closer look at get this resolved quickly for you.

    John.

The issue with your site is that your content/articles are not attached to a menu item.
Joomla is structured around its various MENUS. You currently have articles going straight to your Content Sliders without also being attached to a menu…so the modules do not recognize when it needs to turn itself on and off. So they stay on…showing everywhere.

    s

To fix this, you will probably need to go back and restructure you content through a menu(s) and then distribute your modules as you wish.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.
