When adding a new Layout to the T3 Blank Template, the content of the layout does not get saved.
Template Manager > T3 Blank > Tab: Layouts
For example:
Copy the content from the default layout and click new, next past the content i copied from the default layout. Click on save and hit close in the upper right corner.
When i refresh the frontend i see nothing has changed.
So i go back: Template Manager > T3 Blank > Tab: Layouts
Click on edit, of the new made layout. the field is empty.

second attempt, i try to edit the default layout. Click on save and hit close in the upper right corner. Again when i go back to the tab: layouts, i see the content of the default layout is gone to. Here i have the option to restore it’s default.

I have searched on the forum but did not find anything related to this problem yet.

Joomla: 1.5.22

Thank you for your PM. I have taken a look and everything seems to be working as expected.

I first went into the layouts tab and made a couple of changes to the default layout. I save them and it did as expected and saved the changes (all changes now reverted)

I noticed you have managed to create a layout of your own and in the global tab have selected all pages to use a new profile. The only mistake I can see is that in the profiles tab you need to click on that new profile then near the bottom select your new layout as the current layout is still default.

I am aweare i have to select the new profile. I forgot to change it back when testing the problem with the default layout. It’s changed now.
But it still isn’t working. Check the new layout ‘user-layout’ click edit. It is still empty? Also with the default layout it is empty to.

For seing it is empty you have to click ‘close’ first and then re-open the T3 Blank template.
If you do not do that, you indeed see the content is still there.
