This is a recommendation – the layout option buttons are quite counter intuitive. When a button is active for selection it should be lit up. Instead, the active bottons for left or right layout are dimmed. The lit up button has no effect (and should really not even be active).

Also the positioning of the bottons is counter intuitive. If I want the main area to shift to the right side, I have to press the left (darkened) button and if I want the area to shift to the left I have to press the right (darkened) button.

Was this just an implementation error?
