I am trying to upgrade a website to version 3.2 using this template. I moved the content on a clean installation of 3.2 and most things seem ok for a while when I’m adjusting modules and such and then suddenly the layout breaks and will not return to normal for me what ever I try.
Everything was looking good until I enabled a module in footer position then I got this layout. And it does not help disabling it. I have tried starting over from a backup made early in the process and this keeps happening randomly. First time it was a custom HTML module in right column that I was changing when this same thing happened.
I am using JA T3 Framework 2.6.8 and ja_edenite 2.5.4 and of course click the JAT3 clean cache (which I can’t disable by selecting developer mode – the setting will not save)
It kind of looks like this may be the mobile look and I have tried to disable those but no change.
Can you please help?

December 2, 2013 at 8:59 am #514069@frostijonsson: We are so sorry for the confusedness with the name of package, we will check and fix it soon.
As I mentioned above, this template is not ready for Joomla 3.2 as its still under process of updating to this latest version of Joomla.
For problem in your site, you can PM me admin and ftp account of your site, I will try to check it for you. Remember to take a backup of your site first
December 4, 2013 at 1:38 am #514257OK but as I understand it 3.2 is also a security update so it is very unfortunate that you are not up to date with your products. I was not aware the templates needed updating between 3.1 and 3.2 and have not had any problems updating other sites with templates from other sources.
But OK if the update going to be available in the next few days I can hold off. But I hope it will be fully responsive and all functions working unlike previous versions. I did send the admin info in the first post. This installation is not the live website – the live website is giving us trouble which drove us to develope this update from 2.5Ninja Lead ModeratorNinja Lead

December 16, 2013 at 4:22 am #515510@haseebjamal: I have checked the problem on your site because your site is cached and I helped you to clear cache and changed some config from back-end template.
Now, your site is working now. You can check it again

Thanks Ninja Lead
Unfortunately we ran out of time waiting for this solution and had to revert to working on and updating a previous 2.5 version of this website.
However we are still interested in updating to Joomla 3.2 if possible. Is the updated (2.6.9) version of the T3v2 framework all that is needed? Do I not need a new version of ja_edenite for Joomla 3.2?
I also have a question on the responsive-ness as I can not see the layout changing when I resize the browser window with the web you updated for us. Should the layout not respond to a shinking window like other modern responsive Joomla 3.x templates?
Cheers

December 18, 2013 at 3:35 am #515803Released version on download page here only supports Joomla 3.1 but I have tested to upgrade from J2.5 or J3.1 to J3.2 and it’s working so well
Before you proceed to upgrade your site to J3.2. Please take a BACKUP of your site first.
This is document to upgrade JOOMLA on your site to J3.2 here
After you finish updating JOOMLA. You have to get latest version of JAT3v2(2.6.9) framework plugin from JAEM(JA Extensions Manager component)/ You can have look at userguide JAEM for reference here

February 14, 2014 at 6:45 am #522654About upgrading via JAEM component, just make sure that you check in:

Admin area->Component->JA Extension Manager

and provide account for “JoomlArt Updater Service” (Click on edit link of JoomlArt Updater Service on JAEM, you will see the form to enter your account info), then proceed upgrading.AuthorPostsViewing 13 posts - 1 through 13 (of 13 total)This topic contains 13 replies, has 4 voices, and was last updated by Ninja Lead 10 years, 9 months ago.
