I’ve followed two threads in this forum and [url=http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/user1-user2-right-column/”User1, User2 & Right Column” to change the layout of the template from left right content to the more common left content right layout. I’ve changed the graphics for the pseudo table columns as noted there. However, I can’t find what I need to do to stop the content extending too far to the right, or to switch the background image to a wider content area (both options would be useful depending on the page content) when there are no right modules published for the page.

Places where this happens may be a blog table of contents for a section – need wider content; or a group of articles in related categories where some may need a related items right module and others not need it, but where you want the layout width to remain consistent.

Can anyone tell me where I need to look to fix this?

    1. Swap the background image for pages where the layout is left, content (no right modules and content width expanded), and where it is the usual left, content, right.
    2. Limit content width when there are no right modules, so it’s the same as it would be if there were right modules.

    Thanks – I hope

Can I get one of the developers to take a quick look at my site where this problem shows and advise if this is fixable or if I should look for a different template?

    Examples (all at http://www.wordstar.org/joomla):

Please help because this is a wonderful template style. If this isn’t fixable can we have a new template in this style that has left and optional right modules and central content?

    Thanks: Mike
