    I’m using JA Teline IV for Joomla 2.5. I have just a few questions about how to edit a few things, so please bear with me.

    I want to change the black hover color from the menu to red. I took a screenshot of it so that you can see what I’m referring to. How can I do that? Pavit helped me before, but the code that he suggested no longer seems to work. It only changes the color of the text in the menu, but not the hover color.

    I haven’t understood your request before

    Goto /templates/ja_teline_iv/css/menu/mega.css around line 35 now you have

    .ja-megamenu ul.level0 li.mega a.mega {
    color: #000000; <----------------change this to red color ex color: #ec0c0c;
    display: block;
    font-size: 125%;
    font-weight: bold;
    margin: 3px;
    padding: 4px 8px 3px;
    text-decoration: none;
    text-transform: uppercase;
    }

    </blockquote>

    How do I make the images/ thumbnails linkable so that someone can just click on the image to get to the article. Is there also a way to make the arrow change into the hand icon when hovering over the linkable images?

    This question is the most important to me. Is there a way to list all articles in all categories as I have them in this image (it is the main content block on the home page)? Notice the articles “How the premier league will unfold.” “Travel to Vietnam”… etc. It looks great, but right now it only lists featured articles in there, and I know that you can list all articles for a certain category only, but I want it to list ALL newly created articles on the site. So when someone publishes a new article, I want it to appear in that content block regardless of what category it’s published in, non-featured articles, sports, tech, entertainment, everything. Actually it would be best to post all articles from all categories that are not featured articles, since the featured articles already appear in the featured news module. Is it possible do something like that?

    Hi Jakubd

    Regarding your first question, you need to go to the same file i mentioned above at line 48

    .ja-megamenu ul.level0 li.over a.mega, ul.level0 li.haschild-over a.mega {
    background: none repeat scroll 0 0 #000000; change this to RED color
    }

    Regarding your second question you already have the link to the article on the title with the hand showed.

    For your third question i’m not sure of what you are trying to achieve because if you choose settings as showed in this guide for the ja_News_pro module you already have all articles showed

    Regarding my first question: Thank you! I was able to change the color of the menu.

    Regarding my second question: I’m trying to make the image a link so that visitors can either click on the title or the image.

    Regarding my third question: It’s difficult to explain, I’ll try again. The JA News Pro module displays all of the articles for all of the categories, but I didn’t like how it looked, so I disabled it and then I enabled the main content block in my template manager. So I don’t like this layout:

    But I do like this layout:

    The only problem with the second layout (the main content block) is that it displays featured articles only. I don’t want it to display featured articles because the JA Featured News module already displays featured articles. I want the second layout to display all articles from all different categories, but I don’t want the articles split up by category like in the first layout that I showed you. I just want a list of articles like in the second image of all the latest articles published on the site. You can log into my admin area if looking at it makes it easier to understand, I attached my login credentials. If you look at the magazine menu, you can go into the “home” menu item and look at what it’s setup to display. It displays “featured” articles. I like how this looks on the front end, the only problem is that I want it to display all the latest articles like on a blog. So the exact same concept as displaying all featured articles from every category, except that I want it to display all non-featured articles from every category, all in one list.

    Sorry

    but i don’t think that is possible to obtain what you need, because you can have as item type only Featured articles — Category blog — but with category blog you are limited to one category only — so you need to create a new category Latest showed in your home and duplicate all your articles from different categories in that category too or use an external component to assign articles to more than one category.

    Thank you, Pavit, I really appreciate your help. Also, is there a way to make the thumbnail/ preview image in the features articles on the front page linkable? I know that you can click on the “read more” button, or the title, but it would be easier for people if they could also just click on the image.

    Hello Pavit!

    I am facing a bug with the style in one of my site, maybe you can find it, because when i make changes they affect me my items in the home page.
