Hi. I´m in templates/edit styles, layout tab. I really don´t get how layouts work. There are a number of layouts for a single template style, each with their own set of blocks and module positions. Ok. But how do I select one of them to apply to my web pages? I mean, for menu items you select a template style, but not a layout.

I installed Uber Construction template. The "home-construction" layout in the list of layouts the template style comes with acm-header, construction-home, message (no idea what this is), component (again, no idea) and acm-footer blocks, all full length. But I´d prefer to use other more flexible layout that I see also in the list of layouts. How can I achieve this? Does one apply above the others? I´m new with Uber and I´m finding this a little confusing. I´ve already read the t3 framwork documentation but honestly it hasn´t been very clarifying in this respect.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi
There are different layouts in the template that used for different style pages .
It depends which site you are creating with uber and you can select the layout . Menu use the Template style and template style have option to use a layout . So in case you want to use different layout for different menu items
you need to create template style and select the layouts in those template style .
Then assign these template style to the menu items as per your needs .
    Uber documentation : https://www.joomlart.com/documentation/joomla-templates/uber
    T3 layout Doc : http://www.t3-framework.org/documentation/layout-system.html
