I want to align my images to the left. I select left-align from the image insert, but the image always aligns to the right. I do the same in Teline II and left-align images work.

It is the same dev site I’ve privately written about. I’ve made no changes to the images, only specified “left-align” when inserting the image via the “image” button at the bottom of the editor window. Odd how Teline II images align correctly.

I tried it with default joomla editor to align images both ways and it seems to work fine

This is because T3 defaults all the images to a ‘slideshow’ (T2 couldn’t do this). Therfore, aligning left or right is disabled.

If you want images to align as you specify, put the code

{jathumbnail off}

at the start of the article (you don’t need to do this in HTML editor, just type it as normal text).

This also allows you to distribute images throughout the article, rather than having a slideshow at the start.
