June 2, 2008 at 4:12 am #129174I am trying to add a widget that is about 200px wide, but the left and right modules seem to be fixed-width. I cannot locate all the places to edit the CSS code to adjust the width of the left & right module positions, despite looking in this forum.
Here is what i thought would be necessary to change:
#ja-col1 {
float: left;
width: 80%;
overflow: hidden;
}#ja-col1 div.ja-innerpad{
padding: 0 5px 0 0;
}#ja-col2 {
float: right;
width: 19.9%;
overflow: hidden;
}#ja-col2 div.ja-innerpad{
padding: 0 5px 0 0;
}
it isn’t laying out correctly. I also tried to replace the 100% width with 180px – and that didn’t work either, so which files and lines are required to change the layout of these modules?
Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

June 2, 2008 at 8:51 am #251540No time to draw but you can look at the site: http://www.guidorosas.com
I’m aiming for a left module width of 180 or 200px (to add a widget); I’m not sure if establishing the left at 60% and the right at 39.9% can work, but I welcome your suggestions.

June 2, 2008 at 1:28 pm #251562Can the widget not be placed in the user5 tabs module which is the width of the left and right?

June 3, 2008 at 5:44 am #251649No, because I have other modules to also accommodate in that same module position, on the same page. Therefore, they all need to share the same width.
Specifically, I aim to have a currency converter as a useful extra on a shopping page.
Thanks for your help!
