Hi:
My left column is being pushed to the bottom on my home page. Works OK on all other pages.
Please advise.

November 30, 2012 at 9:00 am #474811Hi Stephen,
These maybe mess html content like missing a opening or closing div tag in one of articles in this page. Please try to disable one by one article to figure out which one caused this issue and check the html tag in its content.
And let me know if you need further helps.
November 30, 2012 at 5:46 pm #474844I just migrated this site from Joomla 1.5 to 2.5 after having done this to another similar site using the same template and I used the same migration tool and in the same manner migrated both sites. I did not have this issue with the first site. There are thousands of feature articles all built the same way as with the first site I migrated. This does not happen when I open individual articles. It only presents itself on the home page.
Please advise
November 30, 2012 at 7:15 pm #474853I did a little test. I set the number of lead articles in the home menu to 1 and it displayed properly. I changed it to 2 and it still displayed properly. When I set it to 3 it pushed the left column down below the main. I looked at the article carefully and could not see a problem with it. The only difference can find is that this article is from another category. I need to have at least 10 articles showing on the home page. I currently have only 2 showing due to the problem. I tried changing it to 0 lead articles and tried the same test with intro articles settings with the same end result of getting the problem when changing it from 2 to 3.
November 30, 2012 at 8:33 pm #474855I have noticed a difference in the html of the pages that work and the ones that don’t work. Apparently when the migration took place some articles had spans and divs added to the html causing the problem. I removed all the span and div tags from article 3 and the problem went away. Looks like I will have to remove the span and div tags from the first 10 pages on the home page in order for them to work. Hopefully no new articles added will have these tags. I think the problem has been found and solved. I may take up this issue with the developer of the migration software I used. SP Upgrade was the migration tool I used. However, I did not have this issue with my other website migration.
Thanks for pointing my in the right direction.
