    Hi Guys,

I have found a post here about changing the width of the left menu bar. And I have done it successfully by myself. However, the background is stuck at the old 20% configuration. I have changed the c-bg1 and c-bg2 gifs to smaller ones. I even tried taking the files out and deleting the codes in the template.css file. However, nothing changes it, the background file is stuck at 20% and my menu is at 15%. I cleared my browsers’ cache and temp files too. Is there anyone that can help me out on this? Sorry, my site is currently hosted on my computer so I can’t provide a link.

Basically, I am just trying to change the left hand menu to 15% of screen, and spacing out the other parts accordingly.

It depends on which ‘Background Theme’ you are using as to which files to edit.

hmmz. what do you mean exactly? I see two colors in background theme, and the problem I am having is with the “Lighter” theme. I have tried tweaking the image, and deleting the image out right… but it still remains when I load the page… is there a hidden file/path I am not aware of?

ok I finally got it after messing with every variable I see in the css files =-=… I never learned css or php… so… I guess its my bad… for people that are wondering…. a lot of the template.css codes are useless, must be left behind by open sourcing…. the real image files is in the Ja_purity/Styles/background/lighter/image… 🙁 I hope this saves some newbs out there some time.
