I have a site http://www.tic.ie using JA Purity. All the pages are perfect except for one. The one page, which is the Products and Services (a section) is displaying the heading (logo etc) and the description text correctly but all the left and right columns are missing in Internet Explorer.
(It is obviously visually, which is probably easier than me describing the problem).
I am guessing it will be a coding problem. I haven’t amended any of the code so may even be a known issue but I can’t find it documented anywhere.
Any help / advise would be much appreciated.
Paul

September 24, 2010 at 12:48 pm #356574It looks like that you have pasted contents from microsoft words. And i can see some junk codes in the view source. I tried cleaning the code and its looking fine. Below is the junk code snippet that I am seeing
<blockquote><!–><xml> <w:WordDocument> <w:View>Normal</w:View> <w:Zoom>0</w:Zoom> <w:TrackMoves /> <w:TrackFormatting /> <w:PunctuationKerning /> <w:ValidateAgainstSchemas /> <w:SaveIfXMLInvalid>false</w:SaveIfXMLInvalid> <w:IgnoreMixedContent>false</w:IgnoreMixedContent> <w:AlwaysShowPlaceholderText>false</w:AlwaysShowPlaceholderText> <w:DoNotPromoteQF /> <w:LidThemeOther>EN-IE</w:LidThemeOther> <w:LidThemeAsian>X-NONE</w:LidThemeAsian> <w:LidThemeComplexScript>X-NONE</w:LidThemeComplexScript> <w:Compatibility> <w:BreakWrappedTables /> <w:SnapToGridInCell /> <w:WrapTextWithPunct /> <w:UseAsianBreakRules /> <w:DontGrowAutofit /> <w:SplitPgBreakAndParaMark /> <w:DontVertAlignCellWithSp /> <w:DontBreakConstrainedForcedTables /> <w:DontVertAlignInTxbx /> <w:Word11KerningPairs /> <w:CachedColBalance /> </w:Compatibility> ………</blockquote>
September 24, 2010 at 12:55 pm #356577Thanks Joolageeks,
How would you advise fixing it? I did try deleting everything in the description text and then re-pasting (via notepad) the description but the problem still remains (guess it is sitting behind the scenes somewhere).
Thanks for your quick reply.
