    Hi,

    I’m new here, and I am having trouble with alignment of text in the spotlights. My URL is http://www.denisereynolds.com.

    The Title is appearing correctly. However, the Full Text is starting too far to the left. It should be aligned flush with the Title, as it shows in the JA Rochea template.

    I’ve tried adding spaces and line breaks, but it still shows too far left.

    Any help greatly appreciated!

    Now you mention it, I see the same thing on my site, but it’s something I’m not too concerned about. It kind of looks OK when you fill the box with text. The demo system is down right now – when it’s up I’ll inpsect that code for differences.

    Thank you, cwigg.

    When you solve this, the ideal solution would be to have all text flush with where the Title begins now (a small indent, which appears to be a single character in width). A solution that aligns the Title with the existing Full Text would not appeal to me as I find that alignment to be too close to the left edge to be clearly readable for site visitors.

    Also, which field controls the text that displays in green on the template, the “Find out more…” at the bottom of the Left Rollover Image? I can’t tell where to specify this text. Also note that the green text indent does not match the alignment of the Title either. It would be wonderful if the alignments could all match up with the Title indent.

    Many thanks for your kindness!

    Here is the code from your site:

    <h3>Food & Wine</h3>
    An accredited sommelier,
    <br/>
    food and wine writer
    <br/>
    Denise Reynolds has

    Here’s the code from the demo:

    <h3>Rochea Typography</h3>
    <p>
    Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet consectetuer id at Phasellus vitae.
    <br/>
    <br/>
    </p>
    as you can see, the demo has <p> tags in there
    I just tested on my site, and adding the <p> </p> tags around the text aligns it nicely!

    as for the link, again you need to put some html in the text box, like:

    <p>Koh Chang Arcade will be one of the most desirable shop front locations on the island.<br/>
    </p>
    <a href=”#”>
    <b>Find out more..</b>
    </a>

    You will also probably need to increase the “expand height” in the module parameters

    Colin,

    Both these solutions worked like a charm. Thank you so much!

    Until next time,
