December 20, 2008 at 5:10 am #283550it looks like when you add the ?tp=1 to the URL when looking at a single article, the left/right positions aren’t there.. how can I add them to all pages on my site?

December 20, 2008 at 2:01 pm #283612Hello,
Go to module manager and select all the published modules (By using the enabled / disabled ) dropdown. I think all the modules must be saying “Varies”. Open the module and select all for the menu’s.
You will need to do this for all the modules. Then it should start appearing. What you have probably done is added a new menu in the modules, and maybe that is why, it wasnt showing up.
Hope this helps,
Regards,

Thank you for the response, but i dont believe that’s the problem. When i go into module manager and i look at -for instance the mini ad module (“out partners”), it is set to appear on all pages…
but when you look at the ?tp=1 page, there is no “left”/”right” module position on the pages where a single article is displayed

January 12, 2009 at 6:30 pm #286114I had the exact same problem on a different template, in my case a SEF module was creating it (had to recreate all url’s)
I see you are running SEF aswell, try to disable it pure for testing and look if it works without SEF enabled.

Lets first try if this is solved when it is disabled. If it is solved when disabled i can give you pointers on how to recreate the url’s or if needed point you to another SEF module.

January 12, 2009 at 7:39 pm #286128all your menu items where created with sef on, wich causes that they dont work now.
Can you make one new menu item, with the same content under it that “general hobby news”.
I can then see if that the articles show ok under this menu item, if it doesnt then sef isnt the problem and you can then turn it on again (wich will make the old menu items work again)

January 12, 2009 at 8:39 pm #286135your newly created menu is still with SEF enabled. or did you enable 404sef AND the integrated SEF of joomla 1.5? If so turn off the integrated one in joomla (shouldnt use them both anyways)
