If I select a category on the main page, then it will be show a category site (not the single article).

then, the arcticles will be showed with the hole content. how can I change this and reduce the count of words?

You can simply add read more code i.e. ::

<hr id=”system-readmore” /> after the article part till where you wish to show it as intro text 🙂

This will generate a read more tab where the code is added thus, bringing the visitor to main article when clicked upon
