Thank you for lovely templates ..they are brilliant. Anyhow, I must be the dumbest person in the world…as I am still very very confused with licences.

I joined 1 year. So my understanding was I can use 2 templates..and I need to pay for copy rights removal..for these domains. So I did. Grr now it still show that I have available 3 domains. I am stunned.

Please anyone can just explain to me in simple terms what I have to do …..I have been for a while with Rocket themes and Never had problems…..but now I am confused. I don’t want to breach any rules. I saw people selling joomla templates on ebay..yuck.. grr one cannot avoid these ones. But at the same time it does really confuse me.

Anyone can share a bit of light cuz it is mistery. So can I use these 3 domain with another 3 templates without paying another $40 each ? No idea grr feel so stupid.

According to this: http://www.joomlart.com/member/signup.php

1 year standard membership entitles you to use any amount of joomlart templates on up to 3 domain names. For eg, you may install JA Quartz on http://www.yoursite.com and JA Sanidine on http://www.yoursite.com/forums/. As long as the main domain is licensed. you may use Joomlart templates on it.

However, you need to purchase the “Copyright Removal” for each domain name if you want to remove the “Designed by Joomlart.com” at the footer.

If you do not remove the “Designed by Joomlart.com”, you do not need to purchase the “Copyright Removal”

That is what I did understood. But somehow now it shows I had 5 licences .. this is really strange that is why it confused me. I paid for copyright removal..and somehow now with my account shows I have 5 domains and 3 available. hmm That is why I was confused. I assuemed it was 2 but ok .. 3 so in this instance I should have one left and pay for copyrights removal for one. But how on hell now my account shows 5..? hmm hehehe. Oh boy.. Thank you

hi di38,

there’s probably some bug in the system that added to your domain count when you purchased copyright removal.

to be safe, stick to using on 3 domain names first and clarify this with the admin.

I will use only 3 somehow thought are 2 may be because Rocket have only 2. 😉 by the way while you so kind…you might explain to me if I need to pay for extensions that are part of template too? I did not understand that either to well. Grrr wish I could efford like you to purchase developer licence but not yet may be one day. 🙂

nope u dun need to. as long as they are part of the quickstart package of the specific template you are using, you may use it on your site with that template.

I can’t admit to the fact that most of my credits came from meaningful posts … most of them were asking for help!

Many thanks, I’m quite new to Joomla and those two were my first two Joomla sites. I’m now working on three more and still learning … a long way to go though before I’m anywhere near as good as some of the other people on this forum!
