Hi folks,
just wanted to let you know that I was quite disappointed to see that I cannot use the component although I purchased the Developer membership, assuming I can use all extensions.
You please should make it clear on your purchase comparison chart that those enterprise extensions are no included extensions.

October 29, 2009 at 1:52 pm #322018Dear stelau,
If you look at the announcement page of JA Voice on the JA Main Site. http://www.joomlart.com/addons/components_and_modules/ja_voice.html .
<blockquote>License, Pricing & Download
Sign up to download and use this component on your site. Details on Pricing and License are listed HERE.
</blockquote>
The pricing and license info is mentioned. May be you skipped reading about the same.Arvind
October 29, 2009 at 2:08 pm #322020Well, thats what I say. As I understand, I can not use this extension, right?
So what I am saying is that my decision on what to buy (in my case dev membership) was based on this comparison chart: http://www.joomlart.com/member/signup.php
Since this page is the startup page for signups, it should be stated THERE that those components are not included. I think when I see a comparison chart, I´m not supposed to look through all extensions in order to see if they really are included – that does not make sense. Get what I´m saying?

October 31, 2009 at 2:23 pm #322191OK. I purchased the developer’s license based upon the chart in the image attached that states that with a developer’s license, you are entitled to ALL extensions. The link to all extensions takes you directly to the list of extensions with the first two being Voice and Job Board.
This is what I based my purchase of a developer’s license from.
I feel that I am entitled to the license to these extensions because of this!
Can someone please explain clearly what the deal is???

October 31, 2009 at 2:26 pm #322192There is a confusion of terminology here.
The extensions as part of the developer package, are for JoomlArt Templates.
The JA Enterprise Extensions and JoomlArt Template Extensions are two completely different things.
The Developer status only entitles you to the JoomlArt Template Extensions.

October 31, 2009 at 2:34 pm #322193OK. I got this part, although this is not clearly stated at all on the site.
Should this not be changed and clearly stated? As it reads in the chart, does it not state that all extensions are included in the developer’s license?

October 31, 2009 at 3:27 pm #322196Indeed it does say, but if you keep reading, it does mention in the T&Cs that its all the extensions available in the JoomlArt Extensions club!
JA Voice and Job Board aren’t part of the Extensions club, they are known as “Single Products” and fall under a different service agreement.
But this does need to be made clearer.
October 31, 2009 at 4:15 pm #322201Thats What I say. Make it clear. “To be known as…” is not an excuse, because I personally really did not know that. I was not jumping around all the site before. I took a look at the templates and decided to buy the dev membership. That was my way of deciding after I saw that comparison chart. Of course, there might be people who try things before, but not everybody does that. I decide fast based on what I see and read. So, for me its not a big deal but definitely not nice.
