    Hi,
    This is a great template!
I am trying to figure out how to implement the “light” versions of the colors you have. They do not show up on the list of colors available. The green is great but I really need to lighten it up a little and wanted to see what the light version looks like before hacking the css.
    Any pointers would be appreciated.
    Thanks
    Ryan

Did you try to change the “style” in template manager >> Ja ruby >>edit ? You should see a drop down for the various styles (themes) available and try choosing from it.

All the variations as shown in the demo are available in the template backend.

    regards

Thanks for responding. As you can see by reading the posts above, the “light theme” which is clearly available in the folder csscolors is not appearing in the drop down list, that is the issue. Have a look for yourself. Several light themes are present in folders within csscolors however they do not appear in the drop down. It would be fantastic if you could indicate what we need to do to implement these “light themes”. I do hope that you are able to help, as other people seem to want the answer as well. This is a great template but it is not up to your normal standards and has many issues to say the least. I am hoping that they can be rectified, as style wise it is a terrific template. Thanks!!

Why is it that we can’t get any help here?
Please would one of the designers respond?
    Thanks

I agree, Joomlart developers used to be so quick to respond. This is partially why I have recommended them to others. Why cant we get an answer?

Bump! Will someone please look into this?

If you want something done right… do it yourself… well ALMOST!

I have gone into the file /templates/ja_ruby_/templateDetails.xml and added the light colours in myself amongst the other colours:

    <option value=”blue_light”>blue_light</option>

    <option value=”gray_light”>gray_light</option>

    <option value=”green_light”>green_light</option>

    <option value=”pink_light”>pink_light</option>

    <option value=”red_light”>red_light</option>

HOWEVER, now I have a strange gap after the slide show position and before user 9 position. These gaps do not occur in any of the colours that already exist, only the new “light” ones I just added and it appears in all the light ones now. I have done absolutely nothing else to the code other than what I have above so Im not sure what is going on there. Maybe someone else can see what is happening?

    Please see pic for example.

I have tried to edit in template.css and pink_light.css ja-botsl and ja-slideshow.clearfix but that is not working, I think some other padding or margins need to be changed but I just cant figue it out!

Has the designers figured out a solution to this problem???? The light versions are available in this template and they dont work! As I said in my post above- I was able to add the additional light colours in the xml file but then the formating is mixed up and I dont know how to fix it.

I have just joined this template club and I have to say I am VERY dissapointed! I have been working on the templates for a few days and it is incredible how flawed they are!

I am trouble shooting issues that shouldnt even exist! First the slideshow position didnt exist and now the light colours dont render! What is going on? When you pay for a template service, you would think that the very basics offered in the template would work!

I am not asking for help on a change on the template, I am only asking that it works out of the box!

I see another template is getting ready to be published so they are flying out but you cant even perfect the ones you have!

I am so dissapointed, I want my money back!!!!! This is really ridiculous Joomlart team! Have you noticed all the people in this thread asking for help or what?

Sorry for responding late. This certainly a mistake when packaging the template. If a template has any color variations, we have put them into the template configuration available in the template manager.

For Ruby, as in the demo server we have 8 styles and some of them are light color

I will get the developer to download the templates and check out the extra folders “light theme” you mention and have it deleted. Clearly, we do not have “light theme” in the style list.

    Hi all,

Thank you for report, we delete all light theme, please download again. For Ruby, as in the demo server we have 8 styles.

I just realized that you didnt actaully fix it, you deleted the light options, this is really dissapointing!!!! I was planning on using the pink_light theme and now you have taken it away! I just deleted my site to start again and now realized light pink doesnt exist!

I cant begin to tell you how frustrated I am!

As I said, the “Light Themes” folders are the not the supported styles of this templates. The reason we have this folder is the bug which has been fixed by deleting theme.

We do provide ALL the themes that we show in the demo servers

So how is it a “bug” when in the Ruby User guide it states in 3.1.6 that it is a default style?

And when you ask to speak to ANYONE in the company when you have a complaint you are COMPLETELY ignored but of course before they take your money you have all their attention!

    Joomlart is a joke!
