October 12, 2011 at 11:26 am #169590It seems to be something wrong with my first thread so I try again.
If a user isn´t logged in and they want to comment they can click a link in JA Comment that opens a lightbox (pop up window) with a login form.
The text in the login form is unformated so it doesn´t look good and the “Close” button in the top right corner is completly white if you are not howering it with your mouse.
And why does it say “Copyright by JA Comment” at the bottom of the window? I have bought the component and therefore I thought I wouldn´t have to have things like that.
Here is a screenshot where you can see what I am talking about:
Here is an acrticle on my site where you can see everything live: http://www.fotoforalla.se/artiklar/nyheter/foto/532-fujifilm-x10-far-ett-slappdatum-och-pris

October 14, 2011 at 3:53 pm #419369Here is a screenshot and as you can see the “Close” button in the top right corner is almost compltley white.
And I have translated the whole front-end file and “Close” hasn´t got a language string, it is hardcoded. “Close” needs to have a language string.
I have updated my first post with access to my test site. So when you are done could you please tell me what you did so I can do it on my live site also?

October 14, 2011 at 3:56 pm #419370Hi
I got it.
feww another issue w/ JA Comments. Ya it’s fixed code in javascript ( close ).components/com_jacomment/asset/js/ja.popup.js
}).html('Close').appendTo(jQuery('#ja-popup-header .inner'));
Replace ‘Close’ by your own string.
About copyright issue i need to talk w/ our staffs . I don’t know we are allowed to change it or not .
Please allow me until tomorrow to confirm.
Thank you

October 14, 2011 at 3:59 pm #419372I emaild the support earlier because I thought that there where something wrong with this thread and they said I could remove the copyright text they just didn´t say how.
If I go in to the Javascript file and translate “Close” to “Stäng” will I get problems with UTF8 encoding then?

October 14, 2011 at 4:02 pm #419374Hi
#1. If i’m not wrong i remember we have some backend config to display / hide that copyright ???
#2. Please download js file – save as with UTF-8 w/o BOM – edit – and save – reupload 🙂
Thank you

October 14, 2011 at 4:40 pm #419385There is an alternative in the back-end for displaying copyright information at the bottom of the component in the front-end. This is another copytight text that is hardcoded.
I have updated my first entry with back-end access (there is a file manager installed instead of ftp) so you can look at the problem with the CSS.
