After installing the release of Lime on Joomla 1.6, I get a ton of php error messages when attempting to view the site for the first time. It was literally line after line of error messages… filling the entire page.. examples below

Strict Standards: Only variables should be assigned by reference in D:Xampphtdocsjoomlapluginssystemjat3jat3.php on line 28

Strict Standards: Declaration of JParameter::loadSetupFile() should be compatible with that of JRegistry::loadSetupFile() in D:Xampphtdocsjoomlalibrariesjoomlahtmlparameter.php on line 395

Strict Standards: Non-static method T3Common::get_active_template() should not be called statically in D:Xampphtdocsjoomlapluginssystemjat3jat3coredefine.php on line 12

Strict Standards: Non-static method T3Common::detect() should not be called statically, assuming $this from incompatible context in D:Xampphtdocsjoomlapluginssystemjat3jat3.php on line 169

Strict Standards: Non-static method T3Path::path() should not be called statically, assuming $this from incompatible context in D:Xampphtdocsjoomlapluginssystemjat3jat3corecommon.php on line 52

Strict Standards: Non-static method T3Framework::t3_init() should not be called statically, assuming $this from incompatible context in D:Xampphtdocsjoomlapluginssystemjat3jat3.php on line 180

Strict Standards: Non-static method T3Common::get_template_based_params() should not be called statically, assuming $this from incompatible context in D:Xampphtdocsjoomlapluginssystemjat3jat3coreframework.php on line 40

Strict Standards: Non-static method T3Path::path() should not be called statically, assuming $this from incompatible context in D:Xampphtdocsjoomlapluginssystemjat3jat3corecommon.php on line 512

Strict Standards: Non-static method T3Cache::getInstance() should not be called statically, assuming $this from incompatible context in D:Xampphtdocsjoomlapluginssystemjat3jat3coreframework.php on line 43

This happened when I installed the template as normal.

When I used the quickstart package, I still get errors relating to php. This time however, it was only 2 error messages.

Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$params in D:Xampphtdocsportaltemplatesbeez_20error.php on line 10

Fatal error: Call to a member function get() on a non-object in D:Xampphtdocsportaltemplatesbeez_20error.php on line 11

I am running this locally using Xampp so I could get to know the template before deploying in production.

Is it possible that my version of php is the problem? I am currently running PHP Version 5.3.5

    Dear drunkfist,

You can try to switch to the php 5.2 version,I think that would help 🙂
