After installing the release of Lime on Joomla 1.6, I get a ton of php error messages when attempting to view the site for the first time. It was literally line after line of error messages… filling the entire page.. examples below

Strict Standards: Non-static method T3Cache::getInstance() should not be called statically, assuming $this from incompatible context in D:Xampphtdocsjoomlapluginssystemjat3jat3coreframework.php on line 43
This happened when I installed the template as normal.
When I used the quickstart package, I still get errors relating to php. This time however, it was only 2 error messages.
Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$params in D:Xampphtdocsportaltemplatesbeez_20error.php on line 10
Fatal error: Call to a member function get() on a non-object in D:Xampphtdocsportaltemplatesbeez_20error.php on line 11
I am running this locally using Xampp so I could get to know the template before deploying in production.
Is it possible that my version of php is the problem? I am currently running PHP Version 5.3.5
