Having set all the padding etc. settings to zero for both the individual images and the mosimage mambot, I’m still left with a 1 pixel line around every image. Looking at the demo, it seems to be part of the template, but I can’t find where.

Where do I go to turn it off please?

Im in a hurry here so this is a quick tips you can try:
Ad the following at the end of your template_css.css file:

.img {border:0}

If not working just reply here again.
