I created a ‘Category Blog’ type menu item. In its ‘Article Options’ ‘Show’ is selected for ‘Show Author’ and also ‘Show’ is selected in the ‘Link Author’ dropdown list. In this case the author name (who is a super administrator) is linked in the front-end. When I click it, I am redirected to the login page. After I logged in, I am redirected to my own ‘Profile’ page instead of the author’s page.
Then added this author to the Contact Manager and assigned their entry by clicking the ‘Select User’ button next to ‘Linked User’ field. Then I refreshed the front-end after cleaning the cache, but without any result.
Tis seems to be a T3 issue, because when the default Joomla! templates are used, the author link points at the author profile.
