Right now SlideShow2 is picking images from folder how to link them to sections/categories/articles. I know it was possible in Slideshow 1 .

The setting is still there. Under the Resource settings options on the right you can select the source to be either from articles or from image folder.

I noticed and compare it from norite in description text box it is missing like this

But then there are no btn_link classes nor little_desc in css

That is because when you are fetching from an article it uses the intro txt of the article for the description but only if in the stage settings you select Description Only in the schow description box.
