October 5, 2008 at 6:10 pm #134051Hi.
Our website has been hacked and I managed to recover. The problem now is all the links have been changed from orange to blue. I checked the css files and they seem to be okay.
HOw could I possibly return the orange color?
Thanks in advance.
Dennis

October 5, 2008 at 11:46 pm #273914See if you can find the link colors in your CSS files. Here is the color you are trying to find:
a:link, a:visited {
color: #1B57B1; text-decoration: none;
font-weight: normal;
The #1B57B1 is the link color that your site is currently showing. You should be able to change those numbers to the color you desire.

October 6, 2008 at 6:56 am #273936Thanks. I will check again. Yesterday, I saw the template CSS are intact. Even when I change the theme to green or other colors, those links remain blue. Such a huge headache. 🙁

October 6, 2008 at 10:46 am #273959jwell thanks for the help and concern
to make things easier, i applied the backup (only the template part)from previous weeks and it solved the problem. i think something has been modified aside from the index.php
problem solved!

November 4, 2008 at 8:40 pm #278073always turn on .htaccess and upgrade to the latest Joomla. also, don’t use poor extension like expose.
upgrading to the latest joomlart template is okay but it will give you a huge headache (based on experience)
goodluck! -
