Hi all, I have diligently gone through about 30 of the pages looking for an answer to this one…also did a search uses multiple groups of keywords – to no avail.

I would like my frontpage to work like it does on the demo Edenite site, here at JA. But instead what is happening, is that when you click on a link from the home page, it loads the content, but the slideshow still shows at the top. i am hoping to have it disappear (go to it’s own page)

I have SEF404 installed, and when I uninstalled it it worked fine. It looks like the JA demo for Edenite has some SEF, but it’s working there.

Here’s the link to the site in question
Richmond Business Association – Richmond, Vermont

    Thanks,
    billyk

You do or do not want the slide show to show up? Because I don’t see it on any page but the home page.

Edited to add: BTW, I love the pencil. 😀

    Hey jwellman,
Right, but when you click on, say, one of the links in the menu at the top left of the page, Breaking News, it takes you to that article, but it looks like the home page stays in place and it just loads the article, or it takes you to another page that contains all the home page content items…

it’s got me over the barrel!

OH! I forgot to mention that it went away when i disabled my 404SEF component…

OK, I figured it out. In the 404SEF I needed to edit the configuaration: By component–>Content–>Do not insert code
