June 27, 2012 at 9:33 am #178558Hi, the links (like unsubscribe, modify subscription or view newsletter online) included in the newsletter -generated by Acymailing- I send to my community don’t work properly. When I click the link the system returns the home page of my site.
I’ve been asking for support to Acyba, and after a lot of tests and emails we realise that the point is that these links don’t work properly when I use the Puresite template. If I switch the template to a standard Joomla one, the behaviour of links is as expected.
This is a “view online” link http://www.heading2market.com/index.php?option=com_acymailing&ctrl=archive&task=view&mailid=18&key=6e50e66c62d5db68f8e25b167e022201&subid=10-e965bbfed456af68354fb451b5ec3468&Itemid=172
This is a “unsubscribe” link http://www.heading2market.com/index.php?subid=10&option=com_acymailing&ctrl=user&task=out&mailid=18&key=e965bbfed456af68354fb451b5ec3468&Itemid=172
Please could you have a look to this problem?
Thank you

June 28, 2012 at 8:48 am #459167Hi jcsanjurjo,
How do you config this newsletter? and
<blockquote>This is a “view online” link http://www.heading2market.com/index….468&Itemid=172This is a “unsubscribe” link http://www.heading2market.com/index….468&Itemid=172</blockquote>
Which page should this above link redirect to?jcsanjurjo Friendjcsanjurjo

June 28, 2012 at 10:11 am #459177Hi @saguaros,
the newsletter has been configured with the Acymailing newsletter editor, included in your JA Puresite pack.
You can find attached a zip file containing the newsletter (in 2 formats: html and outlook msg).
The links are on the top of the newsletter “prueba a abrirlo online en tu navegador” —> (view online), and in the bottom “Date de baja” —> (unsubscribe)
The point is that when using JA Puresite in my site, the link redirects to the home page. However if I change the template to a Joomla standard one, the link redirects corretly to the unsubscribe and viewonline pages
Hope this helps to clarify the situation. Do not hesitate to ask anything you need about
Thanks in advance

July 8, 2012 at 2:31 am #460182This may be a configuration problem on Acymailing. If possible, you can PM me your site details (admin access and ftp account). I will check it for you.

July 10, 2012 at 3:37 am #460414Hi joan,
I checked Acymailing on your site is still working: http://easycaptures.com/fs/uploaded/591/2671631806.png
But because you are disabled css file. I could access to your FTP access however was unable to change anything. You can fix it now:
Open /templates/ja_puresite/css/template.css
Find this script
<blockquote>/* Quitar content de Home Page */
.home #ja-container{
display: none;}
</blockquote>
And change to<blockquote>/* Quitar content de Home Page */
.home #ja-container #ja-contentwrap{
display: none;}.home #ja-topsl1 .main-inner1 { border-bottom: none !impotant;}</blockquote>
Regards

July 10, 2012 at 12:31 pm #460471Hi @ninja Lead, I’m sorry but I made the changes and still not working.
Please be sure you understand the problem:
1.- Acymailing is working perfect, I can subscribe people, can edit newsleters, can send newsletters, and anything
2.- I send the newsletter (html code generated with acymailing) to my subscribers
3 – Within the sent newsletter there are 2 links to my site. The first, on the top of the newsletter, addressing to a View Online page. The second, on the botom of the newsletter, addressing to a Unsubscribe page
4.- The problem is that when my subscriber opens the newsletter and clicks any of the 2 links, he get a home page and not the view online or unsubscribe
5 – But if I switch to another standard template (not JA Puresite), when my subscriber clicks, he get the right pagePlease see in post #3 of this thread an example of the newsletter generated
Thanks for your help

July 11, 2012 at 4:17 am #460536I have read post #3 of this thread and downloaded your attachment file. This is not bug on JA Puresite template because your home page on JA Puresite template appear HOME profile and Hide Main content block(YES) -> this case is all component on HOME profile was disabled. You need to make subscribers and unsubscribe on another page(difference HOME profile)
Can you see about that:<blockquote> Login admin site->Extensions->Template Manager-> Edit JA_Puresite – Default -> Profiles Tab.</blockquote>

July 11, 2012 at 6:15 pm #460628Hi @ninja Lead, you’ve to excuse me but I’m a newbie with joomla and not a lot of knowledge. I’ll be deeply grateful if you can let me know what I must do with the JA Puresite template to get the same behaviour than for example Atomic, Beez5 or Beez2, which are the default joomla ones.
Why the behaviour is as expected with the default joomla templates, and not with JA Puresite?
I don’t made any change to the JA Puresite template, first of all because I’m not a SW Enginneer, the only thing has been a few changes in template.css suggested by @saguaros in this thread, in order to avoid the content block and separator lines in the home page
Please, I really appreciate your help in order to solve the newsletter problem I currently have, please, I need this functionality
Thank you in advance

July 12, 2012 at 5:57 pm #460739Yes @ninja Lead in the menu of my site there is the option you mention in order to subscribe or modify the subscription, even unsubscribe. But doing this way, my subscriber must retype their name and email to carry out the changes. This is not what we are talking.
We need the solution as it is intended, with the LINKS IN THE NEWSLETTER working properly, so the subscriber not need to retype his name and email if he want to unsubscribe. We need as well the “view online” link in order to satisfy those subscribes that can’t receive html newsletters.
Please, the solution works perfect with any of the standards Joomla templates, but not with JA Puresite. So is quite easy to conclude that the problem is on the JA Puresite template.
I opened this thread last june 26th and we were spending these 15+ days with posts in the thread but the solution is not coming. Please if you think that you cannot solve the problem, try to check with your colleagues or scale to any other support member
Thank you again
joan carles
