How can I change the links in the default (green) colour? I would like to change the colour or to underline links so they are easier to see
You can see here that links are very little different from ordinary text.

Please change

a {
color:#506D41;
}


to

a {
color:#506D41;
text-decoration:underline;
}

in templates/ja_social/core/themes/green-color/css/color.css. You could also change its color in that code.
