I don’t understand exactly what “links” you are mentioning here! Joomla! templates themselves normally don’t include any system links and navigations. If you installed ja_spica template successfully, then everything should be ok!
Could you please give me a link to your site? I may help you in this case.
May 23, 2006 at 6:50 am #209467hello hieu nguyen
maybe i can explain
i got the same problems
if you look in your spica template then every header here: http://template.joomlart.com/ja_spica/#
is clickable – Welcome to JA Spica! + Less matter, with more art.i guess this is a administrative option we forget to setup [ headline active links ] or something like that
my main concern is that if i download the spica template i dont get the main menu look & feel as you show in the template
this means
– main menu is in my template black [the main menu header and not green or colored in the other colors ]
– the vertical line is not there [ it only an orange dot. in the middle of the line ] in the begining of each line in the main menu [ hover effect ]it looks really different like another menu is activated
how we get the main menu looks like in the template ???
with the same hover effects ?
look at the screenshot please and notice the ‘Joomla! License’ is the hover effect [ mouse not viewable ]
no green bars or main menu header in green.thank you very much

May 23, 2006 at 7:08 am #209468Yeah, now I know how to help 😉 .
Generally, the problem is you used the wrong Navigation Structure.
This issue has been discussed in this thread, please refer to : http://id.joomlart.com/forums/topic/how-to-use-ja-split-submenu/May 23, 2006 at 7:57 am #209471thank you so much
i try right nowMay 23, 2006 at 9:19 am #209472unfortunately its not the right answer in this thread.
i was talking about the menu look and feel [ compare my yellow dot and the green bar on the left site from the original ] the menu structure in understand.
even with the original setup [ standart of joomla ] how i can get this menu style [ in green ] ?
thanks again for your fast answerMay 23, 2006 at 9:21 am #209473Actually, I think the probelm being described is due to the resolution 🙂
Click ‘Wide’ – this should display the tabs correctly.
One option would be to SET the mode to WIDE to begin with.
PS: With the 3 Column version there is NO way to make the WIDE default…
May 23, 2006 at 12:24 pm #209476you are right – sorry for the stress
