    Hi
    I don’ understand your question:
the HMI is correct for me but if you click in one of subcategories on the left side (e.g. Animations as I wrote before) it show articles in a wrong way.

    Is it clear now?

    Hi
On other pages it looks fine too.
Please take a look Here: http://prntscr.com/e5zhbm
The only different is the height because it has less content and there is no sidebar module published on this page.
Please add a screenshot of the problem and page URL.It will help me to understand what exactly you would like to change on that page.

Maybe I have not been clear as you are selecting only top categories and you not are selecting any sub category ( as I explained before)

Please follow exactly the step I indicated in the enclosed pdf and you will see the issue

    Hi
Kindly create a new menu for category 67-animations
and assign this category to menu, like you did for HMI save and check.
If still issue kindly share a temp super user login via Private reply, I have to check the menu types for the categories and the options.

    Hi
I think you have not read the whole message of my fisrt post. Here what I wrote before:

…To make this kind of view for the main categories, I have created hidden menu items linked to each main categories as Category list, but as I have a lot of subcategories I would avoid to make hidden menus for each sub-categories

I know if I create menu items for all the sub-categories as I did for the top categories, the articles will be showed as a list, but as I wrote "I have a lot of sub categories" and it will be a big job to create menu items for each sub-categories.

I have requested how to avoid that

    Is it clear?

    Hi
Sorry but in Joomla when the category not associated a menu item it does not follow that layout, that you want to apply on it. This is why is showing the layout of blog type.

I am sorry for not much help in this case.

    Regards

The solution is to set Joomla Category Option Blog layout as list
