July 30, 2012 at 2:39 am #179491does anybody know how to get a list of articles in the JA NewsPro module without grouping?
JA NewsPro displays a list of articles by category. I have different categories and I would like to have a unique list, something like this:
Currently the module displays:
Category1
article1
artcile2
article3Category2
article1
article2
article3Category3
article1
article2
article3I want something like this:
category1.article1
category2.article1
category3.article2
category1.article2
category3.article3…..This is I want all articles from different categories based on the date published not group by category.
Is this possible or is this going to be another useless module in these templates and I need to create my own?
thank you.
(No, you can’t have access to the web site, it is in my machine and is not in internet yet. )

You can go to modules manager, choose param “Articles Sorted By” as “Date”.
Thanks

August 2, 2012 at 5:21 pm #462991thank you MoonSailor.
Sorting by date is okay, but it still groups by category sorted by date. I will see how to customize this module.
Now when you say “customize module”, you mean to do changes to the code and create a new module with those changes, don’t you?
Or is there other way to customize it without affecting the original code?

August 7, 2012 at 8:53 am #463462Hi madelman2012,
I think, you need change code, no other way to customize it without affecting the original code. I can’t change it because it will affect our other templates using it.
Thanks.
