Hello,

I’m using JA_Brisk at: http://www.ehealthcode.org and I would like that homepage have got home layout and all other website have got default pages.

I saw this post from pavit:

1) Create a new menu call it hiddenmenu
2) Create a new layout with all your desired blocks inside
3) Create a new profile with the layout selected
4) Create a new theme with your colors and images ( if you want )
5) Goto the hiddenmenu and make a new home and set this as default page
6) In template manager use the Page assignments to assign the home in the hidden menu at your new profile.

Now you will have your home not related to any menu and customized as you prefer

But when I acces at some link that not have an item menu, it continue showing “Home” layout. For example when I click first plus button attached in this image.

Many thanks.

Hello turminator,

You must create a menu for that link. If a link doesn’t link to an item menu, Joomla will assume that it’s home page and “Home” layout will be displayed.

If you don’t want to show that menu on your site, you can put it in a “hidden menu” as pavit post above.

Regards.

Hello I detected some other problem with Search box function.

If I try to search: “123” in Home page it not shows any result. But if I search in some default template it shows search component page. You can try it, using in:
http://www.ehealthcode.org/ (Home page)
http://www.ehealthcode.org/nuestro-equipo (some other page)

Many thanks for your support!

Again, you need to create a menu item for Search component and put it in a “hidden” menu if you don’t want to show it on your pages 🙂

Hello turminator,

Please open “Buscar” module and set “Set ItemID” setting in “Basic Options” group to “142”.

I changed it for you and problem was resolved. Please check and confirm the same.

Regards.
