Is anyone else getting this annoying little problem….When I go to reply to a post, after I start typing it jumps into Quote mode and places all the text of the post I am replying to in the box so I have to start my reply again…..does that make any sence….I know what I mean 🙂
Is this a little bug in the forum?

Here you can see your message in quotes….I did not press the quote button I have to delete this first, bit of a pain whaen its a long message your replying to :confused:

I’m not getting this either mfcphil … I’m using Firefox 3 on Mac.
Mind you, one thing that is annoying, when I visit the site, even if I click ‘Remember Me’ it never does, I always have to login again!
Weird this quotes when you’re not quoting thing though … are you using ‘Quick Reply’ or ‘Post Reply’ at the top of the thread?

I’m not having either problem. I was thinking an IE issue (I have version 7) so I logged off of Firefox and used my Explorer. No errors for me.
Chris… could it be a cookie issue?

Don’t think so. Tried Firefox, Safari and Opera … same problem!
Still, it does remember my username and pass so I just click ‘Login’, not so serious

and the displayed dates are wrong…I reply to a post and it shows as I answered yesterday :confused:

I hadn’t tried the Quick Reply in IE so I’m giving it a go…
Modified to add… No errors for me. You don’t have the little box clicked that says “add a quote” do you? It’s right beside the message area for Quick Post.

I have tested and reproduced the same problem. This is a confirmed issue, I will have a look and fix it as soon as I can. Thank you very much for your report
