Dear Joomlart

When installing Ja-Lens Joomla 2.5 latest quickstart version on my localhost, running XAMPP Latest version I get the following errors:

Any thoughts on this? Is it my setup or does this happen on all Xampp local ?

Hi

From your php.ini set these in this way

display_errors=on must be OFF
output_buffering=4096 must be OFF.

Restart your apache server and start again your installation.

Hi Pavit
Thanks you for helping me with this, i did as you suggested but alas i still get the errors, i installed the normal joomla 2.5 package which i got from joomla.org and that works fine.The Joomlart Quickstart packages work fine live, it’s only on my localhost it’s giving errors.

I’ll look into this further and let you know if i solve it.

Hi mohdshafie_77

Have you changed the 2 lines in the php.ini file as decribed in the previous post ?

Remember … you need to restart your apache server after made these changes.

pavit..tq..but i’ve already edit the php.ini file as u suggest…but still the same result.

Hi mohdshafie_77,

Please try to “Global Configuration” in back-end, then go to “Server” tab. After that, select “None” for “Error Reporting” in “Server Settings”.

I had the same problem. After following your advice homepage errors are gone,(no demo pics though) but when i try to click kunena forum all errors are back. Virtuemart and K2 are ok. But Kunena i got the same errors..Any advice?

Did you upgrade to newest version of Kunena? If so and the problem still occurs, please PM me with your administrator and FTP account. So I can help you out.
