Is it possible to have multiple dropdowns to filter the locations? Our job board is a national one so applicants will need to filter on multiple levels (by country, region, county and then city).

There are 9500 locations in total, so its not practical to have the selection in one big long list. Ideally there would be 4 multi-select lists (in my case) so that an applicant can first select the country, then the region, then the county and then the cities.

Has anybody managed to achieve this in the current version of the job board?

In location field, we have input box for user to enter character and filter for location, so user don’t have to select in one big long list, all they have to do is typing some characters of the location.

That sounds interesting, unfortunately JA JobBoard doesn’t support this feature yet. Please consider to find someone to help you with this customization.

    Hi luna,

    Thanks for responding.

Does the jobboard support creating dependant picklists? I know I can create the. Via mysql but wondered if this would cause conflict within the jobboard.

You can try to create one. Actually, I am not entirely sure that JA JobBoard can support this feature or not.

If you go ahead with this, remember to backup your site before customization.
