Hi,
I worked out how to make the code changes in pagebreak.php in the joomla/plugins. Unfortunately it seems you can’t create overrides for plugins, so it have to remain a "hack" and I will have to copy the hacked back into its plugins folder whenever I update Joomla or the template.
But at least the code is doing exactly what I want it to do now.
