    Is it possible to have the login features not open for everyone? we are setting up an restricted area for some members that pays a fee. is it possible to do this?

    I think he is talking about “hiding” the log in for none members. However, in order to “prove” that you are a member, you would have to log in. What you would do is to make sure that people can register but you decide ( in backend ) whether people are approved or not. That way people can still sign up but they are not automatically “members” or signed up. If you understand what I am talking about.
