April 28, 2016 at 4:51 pm #924069I have just set up a new site with the JA OnePage template. Unfortunately, the site requires user registration and login, but when I click on any of the user items, I get errors. When I click on the Login menu item, nothing happens, and when I click on register, I get an error message saying "For security reasons you must login before editing your personal information."

Your 2 menu items login and register should have assigned as template layout the default layout
I changed them1 user says Thank You to pavit for this useful post

April 29, 2016 at 6:13 am #924280I managed to get the register link to work now, but my profile and edit profile still don’t work. They are submenu items of the Login menu.

You should assign to your 2 menu items template layout that has the component block , that means you should assign to them the DEFAULT layout and not the onepage layout .
I noted you deleted the layout i created before
Please take a look at the documentation HERE to understand how T3 Framework is organized with layouts

April 29, 2016 at 12:23 pm #924447Sorry, I understand now what you were trying to do. I have meanwhile recreated the default JA OnePage template but the problem with the view and edit profile commands did not go away, unfortunately.
Here’s a screenshot of the error message I am getting when selecting either view or edit user profile.

April 29, 2016 at 3:54 pm #924540That’s great news! I have been working for more than a day on this problem and suddenly it went away. Thanks for your help.
Update: A few hours later, the problem has come back. I’m getting the ‘you must login first’ error message again.

Hi there
I tested again logging in from front end and it worked fine, if it should happen again try to search into log file to see what is happening.
