I created an user account and login to it. It turned out there’s no any personal space in back-end that you can do things like Facebook or similar.
Now, in order to let “user login” make sense, I mean to allow user to register and login in order to have some functionalities in their social account, what can I do to fulfill this capability of user’s account?
Thanks!

Viet VuSeptember 25, 2015 at 1:37 pm #692566Hi, at least have some account basics, edit settings, edit profiles, social networking features (find friends, follows, etc), and even allowed to create and publish articles…
Right now I don’t see what’s the purpose to login since there’s nothing that you can do with your “account”.
Thanks!

September 25, 2015 at 3:31 pm #692576Hi there
Actually it’s not something about template. It’s about Joomla! feature.
Please note that in Joomla! default there is nothing about Social Network like friends / follows etc … you’ll need 3rd extension for that. You can check it in jomsocial.com
By default Joomla! allow user with permission to view content / or use forum ( 3rd extension: Kunena ) …I think you can go with joomla.org for starting point.
Thank you,

Viet VuSeptember 26, 2015 at 3:48 pm #692832Would jomsocial seamlessly be mingled with this template? I doubt it though as I have some experience with 3rd party extensions. The extensions, in most cases, appear differently from the scheme of template you use.

September 26, 2015 at 3:50 pm #692833Hi there
This template does not support for JomSocial style. But you still can use as well.
We have JA Social template which one supported for JomSocial style. And of course. by use 3rd extensions there are always have “chance” to have issues. But not always are serious “bug”.
Thank you,
