    Hello,

I want to create my own page and it works fine with teline_iv using the default profile. The requirement is that if a user does not login, I want to redirect it to Joomla login form page – http://localhost/jaquickstart/index.php?option=com_users&view=login. However, after redirecting, the login form page does not show.
I guess to display the login form page, teline_iv uses the home profile instead of default one so that the main content is suspended. If so, why it is back to the home profile and how can I handle that? If it is not, can you please help me to figure out what happing here?

    Thank you very much.

So, if I’m understanding you correctly . . . when a user does not want to login, you basically want the user directed to a login/registration page so they, essentially, HAVE TO login/register?

FYI … unfortunately, we cannot view your site to see what is going on if you have it on a localhost server on your own computer.

    Hi Tom,

    Thank you for your response.
Yep, the page can be viewed by registered/logged in user only. If does not loggin and wants to view the page, the user will be redirected to the login/registrer page of Joomla.
After changing the profile for home page to default, the login form shows on the page. That is, when redirect to the login page, teline_iv is trying to display it with home profile instead of default profile. Can I let teline_iv to use default profile?

    Thank you very much.

Can you not set user access levels in the administration backend to restrict what they can and cannot view?

Perhaps I am not fully understanding the actual function you are wanting to accomplish.
