I need to add some text to the login page (not the module), please let me know where I can do this.
I don’t want to change the Please Login text in the language file, I want the additional text on the login page above Username.
Also I can’t add a page description to the menu item as the menu type is set as an external URL and this is not available.
Thanks

April 13, 2011 at 2:44 pm #386207Hi,
On following two links, I do not see the text coming from language file.
- The first page
- the sign in link (top right, orange key)
For both ‘Jobs By Email’ links, one in top menu and other in blue box, I see the message from language file..
My question is, how have you created these menu items?
If you use ‘Default Login Layout’ to create the menu item, you get a text box (Login Description Text) to put description you want to show on the login page, but not above the ‘Login’ title, as you have in your site. If that works for you, the page will be consistent everywhere. For references, I have attached screenshot of menu creation page using ‘Default Login Layout’ and where the text appears in login module on frontend. Hope it will solve your problem.

Mr. robpratt1
do one thing .. create a simple article inside joomla and use joomla load module ::{loadposition xx} where xx is the module id of your login id. Else go to http://www.nonumber.nl/extensions/modulesanywhere and download the module and use as directed. This way your logical solution will be reached as you want. this way you cabn use your imagination to come to any kind of creative solution you are lookin for your said Jobsite.
Hope this helps you out.Regards
