    Hello

I don’t know if this is really a problem related to the template or if this is a Joomla problem. I try to explain it here hoping that you can at least give me a hint of what to do.
I don’t know if it started with Joomla 3.4.1 or not, but I get the impression.

I have a menu item called “Intern” the first item on the left “An-/Abmelden” allows to get into the Extranet (restriced area to registered users and other groups) of the page. Normally the login works fine. The padlock in front of “Intern” is open, user is logged in. That’s the normal behavior.

Now click on News for example. News page is opened, padlock remains open (user is still logged in).

Now click on the Home menu or on the logo on the left. Padlock is locked. It seems that the user has been logged out. Most of the users now go back to the “intern” menu item and klick on “An-/Abmelden” again, to try to login again. Joomla shows them the normal login screen. This then leads, most of the time to an invalid token Joomla error. Login no longer possible. This only happens, as said with the logo or the home menu item.

What’s then even more strange. After clicking on the logo, in the menu click on “Intern” and then in the middle column on “KL/TL Startseite”. On the opening page on the top right there is the Joomla Standard login module. It tells me that I’m still logged in.

I have tried this with the Joomla Login Module directly inside the megamenu, same behavior. Also tried to use the Joomlart Login Module also in the megamenu as module. Same problem.

If I look in the session table from Joomla I see all kinds of sessions with no username.

Could this be that the logo or the home menu item call some kind of external URL’s and therefore break the Joomla session? Since I couldn’t find anything in the Joomla forums I thought it might have to to somehow with the template.

Turning on error reporting didn’t show anything. Debugging tells me that there are duplicates in the session table.

Thank you very much for any help

    Roger

I checked and debugged directly on your site but this is not bug

+ You have to check the menu on your site if Access: Public, Registered or Vorstand (new role defined on your site)

+ Menu will be hidden for access with Registered or Vorstand before login.

That why menu show different before and after login.

    Hello

Thanks for your checks. I checked the menu access policies again. They are correct like that. But this is not the problem. The Home menu and the logo picture link are creating the problems and at least the Home menu is defined als public.
My problem is not that menu items disappear, the problem is that the sessions are broken depending on where you click.

Could you please try the following.
    – login in the menu “intern” then “An-/Abmeldung” (watch the padlock, it should be open now)
    – click on the logo in the upper left corner (the padlock is closed). It looks like you are logged out
    – go to the “intern” menu again. click on An-/Abmelden (Joomla offers you the login form eventhough you are logged in)

I hope I was able to explain it a little better now.

    Thanks for your support
