I want the logo shown on the homepage. The logo changes in the main menu when “Blog” and its submenu are selected. The header also changes to black when my default theme is red-brown. Why is this happening?

I use the brown-red as my default theme. I thought I only had to change the code in one place and it would update site-wide. Why isn’t this happening? Must I go into each of the .css files to change it?
