Hello,

I have a question on style logo (or text).

In my site I got the same page clicking both on logo (or text) and on the first item in the main menu.

I wonder if it depends on the template assignment.

I would like to have a home page clicking on logo, and another page clicking on first item in the main menu.

can you please add a screenshot and illustrate your question in it .
it will help me to know about your issue .
If you have different template then you can assign different logo/Text to your pages .

Hi,

my question is aimed to understand how does the logo*/text button work, I mean can the link be deactivated?

Originally, I was using the corporate style, so clicking on logo/text I got the home page, in the same way clicking on the first item in the main menu I got the same page.

I would like to have two different page,
one (the home) clicking on logo/text
and
one clicking on first item in the main menu

How can I do? Setting up different style?

Hi
If you want to remove the hyperlink
try this
Go to templatepurity_iiitplsblocksheader.php
and remove this code
<a href="<?php echo JURI::base(true) ?>" title="<?php echo strip_tags($sitename) ?>">

Hi,

I come back to this issue.
Actually I would like to find the way to have:

• a home page in corporate style reachable by clicking on logo button,
• then a page in magazine style clicking on the item on the main menu
• then another page in magazine style (with different mashhead)

How can I get that?

Since now if I click both on logo button and on the first item of the main menu I got the same page.

i am not able to get what exactly you want to achieve .
If you want to disable the logo hyperlink ,please follow my suggestion in #4 post .

you are right it’s difficult without images.

So you can see the site where I’m working on:

Up to now, both clicking on HOME and EGIP I got the same page.
I would like to have different.
In HOME I would like to have what I have now, and in EGIP I would like to have a magazine style,
different from Pilot.

Hello
First of all i want to inform you that There is no logo button .
Logo is just hyper linked with site home page to redirect the users to homepage .
IF you want to to remove the hyperlink , you can use my solution above in #4 post .

you need to assign a default menu to show your site homepage ,
currently EGIP is your homepage ,and you can not change the link of this menu .
IF you will change the menu type it will open the changed menu as your homepage .
