I love the simplicity of this front page and have been successful replacing the Zite logo with my header logo. However,
once I clicked the JAT3 Clean Cache link it disappeared and has not come back.website: <www.techanswers.biz/techanswers>
The only other customizations I need for this page are:
Disable the MainMenu on the Frontpage ONLY
Use and Edit 3 of the 4 “Our Services” button.Any response is greatly appreciated.

March 18, 2013 at 4:56 pm #486913Hi
<blockquote> it disappeared and has not come back.</blockquote>
Your logo image has an incorrect path url(“../templates/ja_zite/templates/ja_zite/images/logo.png”)
the correct path will be templates/ja_zite/images/logo.png
<blockquote>Disable the MainMenu on the Frontpage ONLY</blockquote>
You can create a new profile where you will disable the mainmenu and apply that profile to your Home only
<blockquote>Use and Edit 3 of the 4 “Our Services” button</blockquote>
Please take a look at Ja-Zite Userguide to customize your module.
Regards
March 19, 2013 at 2:51 pm #487045Thanks for the response. I’m making the changes but can explain a little more on how to disable the homepage? I created a second profile called NoHome but don’t know how to apply it to disabling the mainmenu.
Thanks again.

March 20, 2013 at 6:54 am #487140Hi
First to create a new profile you need to create a new layout for your Home page where mainmenu is disabled to obtain this go through these steps
1) Create a copy of your Default Layout and call it as you wish example NoHome Layout
2) In this layout remove the part of code related to mainmenu e.g. ( mainnav )
<blocks name="top" style="xhtml">
<block name="absolute" type="modules" style="raw">absolute</block>
<block name="top-panel" type="modules" style="raw" main-inner="1">top-panel</block>
<block name="topbar" type="topbar" main-inner="1"></block>
<block name="header" type="header"></block>
<block name="mainnav" type="mainnav" main-inner="1"></block>
<block name="masshead" no-main="1">masshead</block>
<block name="slideshow" type="modules" style="raw" no-main="1">slideshow</block>
<block name="cpanel" type="usertools/cpanel"></block>
<block name="topsl" type="spotlight" main-inner="1">user1</block>
<block name="topsl1" type="spotlight" main-inner="1">user2</block>
</blocks>Delete the code in RED
3) Save your new layout and go to your profile named NoHome
4) In that profile as desktop layout choose the new created layout NoHome
5) Go to the left in page assignments and choose the menu item Home or any other you want disable the mainmenu, change the layout from default and assign the new layout NoHome
6) Save and clean your JaT3 cache
March 27, 2013 at 8:08 pm #488044I tried the code above but did not seem to work. This should be a check mark in a module.
However, I’ve modified my site and would like to use graphic buttons in the mega menu instead of text. The button works but I can’t seem to get rid of the text. Are there any solutions for this?
Thanks
