i have a logo that is taller than the default one, i have played with the css and cant seem to push it down, the top is cut off,

Hi Tex

In the template.css file have a look for line 712 which is h1.logo:-

h1.logo a {
width: 434px;
display: block;
background: url(../images/logo.gif) no-repeat;
position: absolute;
height: 60px;
bottom: 15px;
left: 0;

Change the height to what you require – for my site it’s 60px.

Hope that helps – I had the same problem, but thanks to a few other members they pointed this out to me too.

thanks alot but thats not quite what i meant, i have the height in for the logo but i need to move the whole thing down, see attached
